RAJBHASHA HINDI

          The Constituent Assembly of India had accepted Hindi, written in Devnagari Script as the official language of the Union States on the 14th September 1949. All Ministries, Departments, Banks/Undertakings etc of the Central Government and other Departments throughout the country celebrate 14th September as Hindi Day.
         
          In view of the above Kendriya Vidyalaya Borjhar is active in implementing the rules and regulations for promotion and extension of Hindi language. In Vidyalaya official language committee comprises of twelve members Chaired by the Principal of the Vidyalaya who is also the Chairman of the committee. The meetings of the committee are held quarterly in which all the points regarding the progress in Rajbhasha are discussed. The copies of the minutes of the meeting are sent to the Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Guwahati Region, Research Officer, Department of Languages, Department of Human Resource,Govt.of India, Rajgarh Road, Guwahati, Secretary,TOLIC,G.S.Road, Guwahati and reliable suggestions from their end are implemented.

          Rajbhasha Hindi Pakhwada is celebrated every year to indicate the tendency among the employees to do their official work in Hindi. Teachers deliver speeches on different aspects of Hindi Language. The students participate in different activities like Debate Competitions, Essay Writing Competitions, Poem Reciting Competitions, Story Writing Competitions etc and the winners are given away the prizes.

          The official letters are sent with Hindi version. Hindi language is used in making proformas, application forms, entries in registers, notice-board, rubber stamps etc. All the employees of the Vidyalaya except Group-D have got the basic knowledge of Hindi language.

          The Morning Assembly prayer programmes are carried out in Hindi on alternate days of the week. During these days Special Programmes, thoughts, quiz etc are carried out in Hindi.
